A somber face (1996)

a somber face
with pain that is evident
words that were harsh
that came crashing down
with the weight of the world
crushing all in its path
all which was one
the one who was destitute
destitute beyond repair
hung up on dispair
which now is no longer a loss
because the pain that once was
is pain no longer
all suffering has ceased
its carrier deceased
a victim of harsh words
no more...
