I sit on the step and let out a sigh.

For I still miss the scent of Miss Lemon Pie.

She was sweet as sugar yet would make you pucker and she'd call you a sucker.

I wish I could see Miss Lemon Pie one more time,

just so I could say goodbye,
Miss Lemon Pie....
