Yesterdays Gone

Yesterdays gone, today is new, wondering what there is to do. Unlike most, my outlook is true, accepted today the old for the new. This morning my thoughts are nothing of old, for my future only holds gold. Moving forward, away from the past, knowing that time does surely pass. Tomorrow will come, I'll rise again, greet the new day with a smile and begin. Look for the good in all that shall come, step out the door and smile at the sun. I'll stop by the beach, watch the birds run, their solace appearance, gathered as one.
Yesterdays gone, today's breath is new, I think I'll just sit here, enjoying the view.
