The Fertile Reclamation

Alexus 2000 (Ohio)

Upon the ruins of man's pride,
Nature awakes, unbound, untied,
With tendrils green and branches strong,
She reclaims her ancient song.

The concrete cracks, the ivy weaves,
A tapestry of vibrant leaves,
As whispers echo through the breeze,
The land regains its verdant ease.

Where once the silent steel did rise,
The lark now sings to open skies,
And rivers, once contained and hushed,
Now burst in torrents, free and flushed.

In quiet triumph, life returns,
With petals bright and ferns that yearn,
To blanket all in shades of green,
A testament to nature's dream.

The humble earth, so long oppressed,
Now rises from her ashen rest,
To paint the world in hues anew,
As nature claims her rightful due.
