Fly my little friend

Fly my little friend,
With your wings as white as snow,
Heavens starlight it is waiting,
To guide you as you go,
The golden gates are open,
The rainbow bridge is crossed,
Fly my little angel,
Though my heart will pay the cost.

Fly my little friend,
Your halo, it shines so bright,
Come let heavens angels,
Guide you in your flight,
You've touched so many hearts,
That you've met upon your way
Fly my little angel,
Let your heart guide you on your way.

Fly my little friend,
As teardrops flow from my eyes,
Flowing into puddles,
The sadness of goodbye,
You'll live within my heart,
A memory that is true,
Fly my little angel,
For heaven is calling you.
