Britter lynn

Britter lynne I miss you everyday
My First baby girl I had you at Such a young Age
I had to give you away
to my mom to be raised
I think that was my first mistake
But that was the only way I could
Still see the smiles on your face
Hear the sweet voice of my baby britter lynn
11 years ago This spring
God took you away
Guess He needed a new angel that day
I tried to save you but It was too late
I tried to give you my heart my baby
They said there is no way
So my soul was torn into two
The day i lost you
I gave the better half to you
I thought I failed you
And didn't know what else to do
My baby was taken Away
So I started to use
It took away the pain of losing you
But feeling numb goes away too
And the pains still stayed
I wish I could see you
Just to tell you I love you
And to tell you your so beautiful
But I know I will see you soon
When I see the light shining threw
You Are waiting for me to come too
I might still use...Addiction is A battle too
But I keep my soul clean my hands too
So I'll be able to see you again
I love you And miss you britter lynn
Bother and sisters too
I will stay true to you
But always sing the blues
Untill we reunite someday soon
Il be Smiling At you
You too..waiting for me to come threw
I will be with you soon my baby
 I love you...

About this poem

I wrote this poem back in 2018 for a mother who lost her child. I spoke through her eyes only from stories that she told me

I could read the journey, feel the emotional connection, and respect the deep honesty. It was raw and real. While there are some grammatical errors, It was also the only poem I thought of again a few days after reading. Rest in peace Britter Lynn. ♥️
