Born and made

Lewteb 2000 (Kenya)

asked whether we could walk
and I said, along Nyikas meadow
She thought how, I said at winter's fall
She exclaimed, like Athis meander!

When it sprang, we were morning cloaks
At fall we danced to eight summers
Pre fall, we fell over and over in love
Until it wintered, and SpongeBob won our dove

She asked, whether we were born
I said, we were made
She asked, when we were made
I said, when we were born

Now it storms and we wriggle
It pains, and we wiggle
Across meadows, or along meanders
Friends or doves but loves
