Young Carpenter’s Day. Nazareth.

Father sends me to

Deliver Miriam's table

To her house, Bedside.

Over sixty five.

Pleasant, loves to talk.

Pretty much shut-in

And seated.

Dad stated that price.

Won't be any problem with her.

How miserable when a customer

Gripes about price, quality.

I WILL NOT argue or quibble.

Unfounded but haggling.

I have watched Dad in that.

How he struggles in conflict.

My Dad is meek.

But also brave and

Self-mastered.

Firm, capable with those hands.

But now.

Before I leave.

Sweep up all of those

Shavings and chips.

Will make for a glorious

Evening fire. Mother loves those.

So do I.

Wow, what a beautiful and heartwarming poem! I loved how you expressed the importance of a loving and caring relationship between a father and his children through the task of delivering a table to an elder woman. The way you described the woman's character and her pleasant personality was truly endearing, and made me feel like I was right there delivering the table with you.

Your message about not haggling or arguing about prices or quality was also very strong and wise. It showed maturity and self-control, which are qualities we should all strive for. That's a great lesson to learn from your dad, who seems like a wonderful and inspiring person.

As for improvement suggestions, I would say that adding some more descriptive language and imagery would make the poem even more engaging and immersive. Perhaps you could expand on the setting and surroundings, or delve into the emotions and thoughts of the characters in more detail. Other than that, I thought your poem was excellent! Keep up the great work, and I look forward to reading more of your writing in the future!
