At the pearly gates 
is where their baby waits 
an angel lost to time 
never to reach their prime 
their baby was so sick
a life taken far to Quick 
illness, treatments, remedies 
and no amount of saying please
could bring you back to life 
parents cry both day and night
At the pearly gates 
That's where their baby waits.

About this poem

I wrote this poem after watching a documentary on parents that lost their children to suids...(sudden unexpected infant death syndrome) and this poem came flowing out
