The Beginning of the Spread
He’s walking alone through the woods.
Only he thinks he’s alone.
If only the directions he understood…
All he knows is that you can’t be cloned.
He thinks he’s losing his mind.
His eyes are making him insane.
There’s something not of his kind,
but he has to hide away the pain.
The mysterious lurking throughout the brush.
The mysterious house with lights shining bright.
The voices loudly telling him to hush.
There’s a shadow moving within the night.
He cannot help but to scream so loud.
The lights from the house shut off.
You would hear him from above the clouds.
He pauses and hears a cough.
Maybe it’s just a man.
Maybe he’s going to sleep.
He’s so tired that he can’t stand.
It’s quiet, too quiet, there's not even a peep.
He can’t help but to walk to the house.
It’s a bad idea, but he’s lost.
Something runs from beneath, just a mouse.
He opens the door, clueless at what he has caused.
