Recovery Found in God’s Love

The nature of shock,
how it affects to the core,
when it is sudden,
and without any warning;
recovery found in God’s love.

About this poem

On Saturday morning, March 4, 2023, my Rockland County, New York family of seven, composed of our daughter, her four young children, my wife and I myself, suffered a devastating loss when a blazing fire consumed our house, our home and residence of 28 years. By the Grace, mercy, and tender loving kindness of God, his heavenly and earthly angels, church family members, Godly friends and neighbors, we are safe, healthy, in good spirits, and thankful. Indeed, the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, with all our mind, with all our strength, and with all our soul. And the second is like unto it; to love our neighbors as ourselves.

    Right to the point. Truth does not have to be told in many words.
