Army of Darkness

"Army of Darkness"

Crimson verses shades of blue
Army of darkness in sets of two
Stuck on the blindside of reality
Nothing living evades casualty

Pumping pistons hearts of men
Killing machines hid under skin
Old Glory in ashes no rose valor
Brother against brother in battle

Steel soldiers march without pride
Battlecry freedom has been denied
No cells beneath scraps of metal
Armored bulletproof kevlar vessels

Flatline the brain, heros go insane
Greed's killshot shedding ruby stain
Man VS Machine skeleton or cage
Lands of white winter wheat waves

Minutemen no match to the Giants
Repeat after me I'll silence violence
Pawns of destruction rage eruption
Dog eat dog total self consumption

The Punk Poe

Chelley Rice aka Michelle Rice- LaPine, The self-proclaimed "Punk Poet" also known as the "Dark Queen", has captured the audience of many with twisted tales woven in the form of poetry. Her ability to bring darkness to light is remarkable. However she also has the ability to write of love in such a way you feel every word. She's a versatile poet who pushes herself to progress. Within her stanzas she will take you on a journey into parts of your mind you didn't know existed. She's been writing for nearly 4 years & it has become her life's passion. She's the proud mother of three grown children & grandmother to three as well. She's hard working, dedicated to her craft & unequivocally has many variations in her poetry. Her first book of poetry: "Prisoner of Poetry" is in production now in hopes to be released by early fall. more…
