Admire

I admire the way you notice me
The way you focus on the little things about me
Like how I stand
How I talk
How I act
I admire how you remember everything
My birthday
What I like
What I eat
I admire your eyes
The different shade of autumn browns
I admire the way you laugh
The way you walk so gracefully
I admire your aura
How I feel so calm and safe around you
I admire the butterflies that pay me a visit anytime we
lock eyes
I admire how we can speak to one another without saying a word
The way we just know what the other is thinking
I admire
You

About this poem

I wrote this poem to express the warmth a special someone in my life has given me. I hope that this poem can help others express the feeling as well.
