The Darkness speaks

Latrese White-Boyce 1968 (Plainfield, NJ)

As I sit here in the darkness with no light.  I have remembrance of a future so bright.  It is all a blur, how beautiful was the sun on my face with the warmth and  lovely rays.  The darkness speaks of the beauty once so bold.  In these winter months, oh how it's so cold.  The darkness speaks to my spirit.  I am a mist, I would love to hear it.   The darkness speak, oh how I am amazed to be in the darkness.

About this poem

is my expression of coming out of the darkness.
