Threatened By Truth

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Threatened by truth and peace to keep it.
Has many on the the run stunned,
An ending lived to fiction...
Will result to create havoc and chaos,
Done to come uninvited.
With a permanently disturbing,
Mentalities sickened.
Approved and accepted,
To undermine the competent leadership...
Of those who are the ones,
Revealed and exposed to be...
Abundantly diversified.
Although shunned by their ethnicity.
As if a needing to do this,
Gives more value to an image to depict...
Superior.
All-knowing. blemish free and flawless.

However...
Limited in proving,
Dependable skills.
And a responsibility,
Unafraid to be held accountable...
For decisions made from mistakes repeated.
This to excuse, blame and accuse.
Is an entitlement often accessible to use,
As a preferred weapon quick to choose.
Reliable and sold to fiction.
Yet...
Deluding the spread of its sickness?
Can no longer keep,
This repetition of pretentiousness...
Innocently portrayed to display innocence!

Aging is a difficult thing to delay,
Misunderstanding to comprehend reality!
Especially among those finding their minds,
Out of touch!
