Free verse
I sit here in the shade of darkness children play with one another

For my body to shell my soul of bright light my heart cold as ice I wish I could speak for all that comes out is a sigh

Yet the fear of being judged consumes me until I am but a soul surrounded by an icy heart

Always wishing never flinching yet it was years until someone would talk to thee

Loneliness turned into lost lust turned into
  bloodlust, bloodlust turned into rage, rage turned into sadness .
