Fords and Chevys

They saw they could never live up to God’s standards,
No matter how hard they tried.
You see the truth of the matter is,
You need to have God inside.

Without the Holy Spirit to fill us,
We’re only empty vessels and jars.
Just like Fords and Chevys without any drivers,
Are only motionless trucks and cars.

Haul them away to the scrap yard,
They’re only wasting away.
Hand them over to the crusher,
If they can’t be made useful today.

But wait there’s good parts on this one;
Let’s break it to pieces and save.
Is this not what Jesus can do for you?
And can He not do it today?
