Cowardly Lions

Lord, above all things I cherish You.
Because you’re the only one that’s true;
All the rest have gone astray.
In outer darkness they now stay!

In many churches; in many pews,
They come to seek and worship You.
They do not know where You are found.
They cannot see You’re all around!

The darkness still overshadows the deep.
Because they’re drunk they stay asleep.
While the Spirit of God hovers over the waters.
Calling out to His own; all you little pooders!

You cowardly lions and fraidy cats,
Open your eyes; the Word is where I’m at!
