Another Night

Another Night..
Another Sleepless night of worry & Doubt.
Trying to figure this all out.
I know life is not supposed to be this hard.
Daily I collect Another emotional Scar.
I got a family that depends on me.
Can I once again live up to that reality.
It's not about likes, followers, wealth.
I write now to hold onto & save myself.
In the mirror I see nothing bout doubt.
Still these are just words & I would never take the the other way out.
I have been alone my entire life
Hiding in the dark & avoiding the light.
Some enemies are just too strong to fight.
I gotta believe there's a point to all this.
I take my shot yet the target I always miss.
I keep the music playing to drown the sound
Of my father's voice saying again you let your family down.
Off the drugs, no longer a boozer.
So why do I still feel like a natural born loser.
I write with such strength,  But inside doubt & fear.
They only way I get get on my knees is if someone can put me there.
In my life that has not happened often.
Me compromise Who I am.
Never I would rather choose a coffin.
DONT GIVE UP
