Gram

Gram...
Once So Full Of Life
A Mind & Spirit Sharp As A Knife.
I Had To Watch Your Mind Fade Blank,
My Best Friend Losing Herself & My Heart Sank.
Standing At My Side Brought You So Much Friction,
Loving & Supporting Me In My Darkest Days of Addiction.
You Were So Much More  Then I Could Ever Deserve,
A Warrior From A Generation That Knew True Strength & Iron Nerve.
Can't Count The Times You Saved My Life,.
I Cant  Count The Times I didn't Treat You Right.
I Feel Your Energy in Me & All Around,
I Made it  Gram , & I Know You Are Proud.
On Me You Never Gave  Up or Closed The Door.
Sitting With You, Holding Your Hand, But You Could Not Remember We Were Best Friends Anymore.
There was So Much I needed to Say,
You were still here , Yet Your mind Had Slipped Away.
You Made Me  The Man I am Today.
The Strongest Women I've Ever Known,
You Showed Me How To Stand On My Own.
I Made It Gram, I At last Found My Way.
I live The way You Taught Me
Each & Ever Day.
DONT GIVE UP
