Warm Soft Hug...
I Watched From My Window,
As You Walked Away
So many things I wanted To Say.
Moments later The Needle was in my vein.
That Feeling Embraced Me & There was No more pain.
Like A Warm Soft Hug , As My face kissed The Rug
I laid there Feeling My Hearbeat, Slow was my Breathing ,
I No longer cared That You Were leaving,
I Turned on my back & and a tear streamed down my face,
I Wondered how I came to this Lonley Dark place.
I thought this is All I Will Ever Be,
Trapped in myself & Never Free.
The intense feelings of longing & Need,
A Demon inside me Always Needing To Feed.
Everything About Me Is Broken & Wrong,
A Loser , A failure This was my Song.
I Shot up Again & Again Praying I would Die,
There Would Be Darkness But I Always Opened my Eyes.
I Don't want to be this way, I knew That Was True,
My Demon sat with me on the floor & Whispered I'm The only one Who loves You.
I Thought for A moment are his words True,
It made no difference now, I took  his Hand & Said I love You Too.
