MY JOY, MY PAIN-YOU ARE

Mario Fregoso 1971 (Los Angeles)

Hermosita,
Angelita,
My joy, my pain, you are
If only with you
All day
I could remain

You...
Calm the beast within
Without you in view
The monster rages within
THE MONSTER!!!
This entity within rages as the beast seeking his beauty....
Only then, does he have peace
Where can you be found?

As I look ALL around
A glimpse of you is all I need
Beauty and the beast syndrome is what I'm suffering from....
My illness, my weakness
I see you in my dreams
A fantasy is what you are to me
Hoping to make you a reality

My queen
With your beauty as your crown
Your beauty in whole
Captures my heart
Your servant, I have willfully become
I will give my life to please you
Only to bring you Joy
You have become my reason
You have become my ploy
Making everyday, one to enjoy

I ask?
Could together ever exist between us?
This grand question, I ask
