You and I , Who Were Never Us

I hope you meet someone who would believe all your lies .

Who would take you for movies and to fancy restaurants every weekend .

Who would call you each and every second .

Who would receive your phone call on the first ring .

Who would accept all your presents without carrying about home .

Who would gift you presents and book a huge café in every anniversaries .

Who would wish you “Good morning ” and “ Good nightevery day and night .

Who would tag you in every facebook posts .

Who would break all the family relations for you very easily .

Who would believe very easily that you are going to marry him .

I still remember it like a scene from yesterday .
I find solace because you are happy doing what you love doing the most .

You are where you always wanted to be and I am truly happy for you.

About this poem

It's a musing of previous journey where a person is trying to remember all those moments and trying to give the second person a lesson after the first person got ditched .
