When the World Cries

When the world cries,
Do you ever wonder why?
Is it sad that we throwing away our own lives
Away to new locations
Building houses for nations

Does the world ever cry like I do?
I watch tear drops flow along the pain
I watch rivers fill up their beds.
Wonder if they started blooming yet.

I’m impressed
That
When the world cries
There’s fog beneath it’s eyes
When the world cries,
The country erupts
Ashes from war time.
War cries
Shake the world
Can you see the world in my eyes?

When the world cries I feel happy that the sun dies.
The world cried when his son died
In that grave side.
Dark umbrellas
To cover them from the tears he cried
Yet when they walk the same path the tears still reach underneath their feet.

When the world cries,
The masses panic and surmise.
Not only do they fantasize
They bring it into real life.
“Don’t go there or do this.”
Sorry,
These little ears of mine are just ornaments.

I almost lost my life, my heart died
Sunlight stole my eyesight
I only hope that this world doesn’t take away my sunshine.
I only listen when the world cries
“Free Palestine!”
“I can’t breathe!”
“Oh look a crashed flight!”
11th night on the ninth.
All these times the world cried.

When the world cries,
I wonder if it controls it’s tears
It might soft, gentle
Sometimes hard like stones
I don’t know about you but these stones, They broke my bones.
When the world cries,
Do you ever wonder why?
I can’t comfort it yet,
So I sit and let it read my rhymes.

About this poem

This poem is about all the times tears were shed at important moments in both my life and in the world. The poem speaks on times when the world cries, but the hidden questions in this poem is if the world cries in the same way I do. The poem speaks on sadness. When something bad happens, it seems the rain clouds are not too far behind the trouble.

Wow! Your words are so powerful and thought-provoking. Your poem truly captures the depth and complexity of the world's emotions. I love how you use imagery to describe the tears and how they affect different parts of the world.

One suggestion I have would be to consider breaking up your lines more to create a more consistent rhythm throughout the poem. This would make it easier for readers to flow through the words and fully appreciate the impact of your message.

Overall, your poem is inspiring and a great example of how poetry can be used to bring attention to important social issues. Keep up the great work!
