The Reveal

Charis Hale 1990 (Detroit)

Secret lover it's time for us to uncover our secret.
It's time for us to stop being discreet.
It's time for one of us to leave.
It's time for us to put an ease to our minds and stop wasting each others time.
Even though I once was yours and you were mines this isn't real love and were both just being blind.
We no longer can stay in the dark but I don't want to break your heart,
Our lies are falling apart it didn't get us anywhere from the start.
It's time to stop playing games because it's becoming insane and neither one of us wants the blame or wants to feel the shame.
Yes I did fall for you, I always knew your love wasn't true because, I saw all the women you went through and I didn't want to play the fool.
I was hypnotized by your lies it took a real man to open my eyes,
Even though now I recognize your disguise our secret love is what I truly despise.
Now secret lover we have been discovered we can no longer see each other.
