Night Tale
S. Kaushik 2004 (Andhra Pradesh)
In the world
When I thought nobody's watchin
Roaming on the streets all night
Checking my teeth in a grin
Grazing over those tiny twinklers
On that black curtain
To look, how odds are beautiful
And not just any stain
Lost in the silence
Moving with the breeze
Settling all the day's chaos
Breathing with an ease
Talking with the moon
Walking back the trail
Just to lie on the bed
Writing this tale...
About this poem
I wrote this poem when I was alone in the night with a blank mind, because the emptier and dark space the more you can fill with colours.
