I was there
I was there ....
I was there when she cried for help
I was there when she told us her story and we acted like we were listing
I was there when her uncle changed from a Pastor to an Alcoholic
I was there when her own father ripped her apart by taking her virginity
I was there when she cried for help and i turned the volume of my music up
I was there when her mother turned her back on her and did not believe her when she told her about her fathers doings
I was there when her siblings lived a fencey life in Cape town and left her to struggle with pain
With no where to hide her identity she kept smiling
With no one to talk to she took a pen and a paper
With no love and sad songs she became a writer
With no miracles she became an Angle
With scares on her face she fought back
With no hope or loved one's she managed to escape her favareate sitting place
With tears in her eys and a broken heart she found a loving man at once
With the Lord's glory she became a mother of two
.......
