If I knew I was being raised by an angel, I wouldn’t have crashed that Jeep or Durango. If I knew your gigs would save me, I would have stayed home. I didn’t know the manners that you taught me would leave me with admiration from strangers that haunt me. I didn’t know your snapping fingers to our songs, would continue to live in every song.
I had no clue what a miracle I was given. I didn’t know I was being guided by a real live angel. I didn’t know when you smacked me, that I was wrong.
