Fate

Is leaving it up to fate,
Like saying you don't care?
Whichever way it goes,
You just deem that as fair

Is leaving it up to fate,
Implying you have faith?
That we will be together,
We just have to wait

Is leaving up to fate,
Just a way to make it easier?
No input effort needed,
Just see if you still love her

Is leaving it up to fate,
Means there's no need for communication?
We shouldn't need to question it,
Just in my mind on this occasion

Is leaving it up to fate,
Like saying you don't care?
Whichever way it goes,
You just deem that as fair

About this poem

My partner and I separated because I wasn't allowed to enter his country. We said we would see if the world would bring us back together...
