A Thousand Suns
A soaring sky for me to fly
A place of dreams, and wondrous paths, The path I take to my way
May it come by as soon as day
A thousand wonders, but not one for me, Is it what happens when one searches for glee?
The hunt never ends
and the time descends
Worries rise and I must choose right gazing up at the light, I see it bright.
Peers I see racing through the time
For I am only left behind.
With these shackles in my mind,
I am one of a kind.
But as I Look through the lines,
I see it as a sign.
For it's not my trail and I mustn't wail
As my path is the one I realize
The one which I'll devise.
For it is easy to search for the light
In the bright sunshine.
But the light which I seek only comes from the inside
And all the worry simply subsides.
About this poem
This point is about my apprehensions and insecurities about my future. The perfect people around me seem to be well on their way to success....but then I see what I have and they don't... my calling in life is unique to me and so is my resolve and my struggle for it. And that's where I will shine among the rest.
