Yet to do

For a while my mind went blank
As if vacuous of meaning
Routines have blended into life
Without me even seeing
But I know this could not be so
And set about my healing
I searched the sources that I know and
I realise that you and but a few are my reasoning for living
For I have yet to see you grow
And protect you from despair
So you are happy in all its forms
And never in need of repair
