Daddy’s Fault

Little girl born
Mommy and daddy both love her
She feels the love
Mommy and daddy started fighting but shield her from it
She feels the love
Mommy and daddy can’t hide it anymore
She feels the love
Daddy leave the house
She lost a parent, She feels the love
Daddy stopped visiting
She missed him, she feels the love
Mommy does the best she can
She feels the love
Daddy gone no talking for six months
She’s hurting, she feels the love
Daddy leaving left her with one substitute male validation
She feels the love
Mommy’s clueless she’s getting happily married
She feels the love
Sent forbidden pictures to 16 year old boys
She feels the love
Dad reached out
She found out what he had done, she feels the love
Bad friends, bad crowd, but comforted
She feels the love
Drugs take her
She feels the love
Men sexually assault her
She is now terrified of them, she feels the love
Diagnosed with depression
She feels the love
Tried to commit suicide
The love is gone
She no longer feels the love
It has obliterated
It all started with her father.
