a return to she
she closes her eyes and shes gone
one trip too many and shes floating through the vortex
transported to another reality, insanity flipped on
mind shattered and complex
add in insomnia and she doesnt know what to do with this
they say schizoohrenia
but no way to fix it
maybe its just mass hysteria
lost sense of self somewhere
in the fragmented pieces of another woman
of someone who was once there but now nowhere
say a prayer and take some meds for a bit of clarity
and light shines in illuminating, the darkness cowers
but make no mistake she isnt a charity
shes strong in her Lord, her strong tower
brighter days ahead and she can breath
return to self that was almost obliterated if left too long
bow her head and bend the knee
Her God keeps her going on
i can look in the mirror and see its me
look, finally, a return to she
