You’re Not That Strong

Sometimes I think I’m all alone.
Or even out there on my own.

But then I remember my Dad is with me.
And He has many gifts to give me.

He gave me birth so His son I’d be.
And He came to earth to set me free.

I’m not born of this world of pain.
And the ones who are think I’m insane.

This ugly, awkward little boy,
What is the reason for his joy?

I’m born of Spirit though I’m still flesh.
And my goal right now is to be refreshed.

When I put aside this body of death,
The Spirit that lives is all I’ll have left.

And then with tears of joy I’ll cry.
The pain is over; I’ve learned to fly!

So, catch me if you think you can.
As I play and sing with all my friends.

But hold me back? You’re not that strong!
For to God Almighty I belong!
