Past Be Gone

Time waits for no man , the clock tics on the wall
Pondering on your pass mistakes misfortunes and falls
While  allowing your now blessings to pass you by right in your face
Because you are looking back at all the negative in your life that  took place
The past is the past so just leave it there
Because nothing can be change and to yourself you are not being fare
The only thing  you can do is stay focused on Now and gracefully move along
Only use your past mistake as a lesson, as a stepping stone
The past is called the past for a reason and there is nothing to be done
But to focus on the presence and not repeat any past wrongs
Give it all to God and let Him lead the way and your presence in your future will be a better yesterday
So go ahead and smile and know that all is well
Because time is of the essence and you have a story to tell
Move forward with faith and know God will guide your steps
And when times seem to get to rocky Know that God will then carry you Himself

About this poem

The Poem is about leaving the past exactly where it is....in the past. By focusing on the past you are not now seeing your blessing. Its just a poem to encourage a person to let go of the past and to focus on now .
