The issue

Nick Campbell-Clarke

Free verse
Sex feels good
It feels good I'm sure
But I can't get past that mental block
That one right before

Maybe I should ignore it
Push it to the back of my mind
I'm sure he'd understand
I'm sure he'd be kind

I'm tired of this
This expectation to perform
Am I not enough without it?
Will our love forever be lukewarm?

It's like an allergy
To a food I adore
Something I can never have
Even though I want more
