The Face Of Your Ace

Ace of hearts
F*ck you though
I’m worth everything
You don’t even know
People are heartless
They use you
They lie
Lessons learned years ago
Such a waste of time
I’m not dumb
But it still hurts
I’d rather be numb
I wasn’t given any words
Years spent trying to feel alive
I lived a short time
universe took it away
Now I’m Blind
I thought I was an Ace?
More lies
Played like the joker
Put wherever you needed
Your wild card
Used as an Ace
Invalidated
Degraded
You think I wanted to be in your hands to be played?
No
I wanted a seat at the table
With a name, a face, and a space
To be treated equally
Welcome
Wanted
The same
F*ck this game
It’s weak
Disgraced
Tough guys are weak guys
It’s hell what they fake
But here’s my poker face
I know it isn’t missed
Since our backs are turned
It’s the backside that can be kissed
And missed
Since what we could have been
Was left to turn to shit
