You Grew Up

It all started when we cried our first
The world falling apart,
To have our demands answered just...
Minutes and seconds flew indeed
So did the ones
Who paid us that "inflexible heed"...
Today, you are one of those
who feels and knows...
that Growing up is a tedious thing
and the worst part being
that you never saw it coming...
Remember,
A while back, you dreamt and yearned to be tall
Mister Miss and Monsieur to be called...
But this minute, you cry to be back
To those hopeful days
Which you now lack...
You wake up to lies
Fall asleep with teary eyes.
You make up your mind
To see
You're
Dying inside...
Growing up is easy my friend...
But being one might feel
Today...
might just be the end...
