Present

prachie kashyap 2001 (Bangalore)

I
wish to give you my last present,
The present which is so hurtful but you deserve it.
It's one of the memory of us that will be remembered for every moment.
That day will be my last present as we shall have to drift.

It's all I could give you my most precious,
I won't be able to heal the wounds but bandage,
I will strive to show all my emotions with gracious.
To try to fix which I caused you as damage.

I shall give my present as a present to you,
To compensate our bitter past and future promises.
In return I am giving myself a present of calm grey and blue.
So we see sunset together only to be able to enjoy our lonely and calm sunrise.

It's last not because I regret or fall out,
But for us to never forget each other and continue love without any proclaim,
To walk off without looking back on our chosen route.
Though how desperate we would want to fight for that one moment, look to keep in frame.

The present that we both deserve.
