A Letter to the Sun

Dear Sun, shining bright above
Your warmth and light I do love
Your rays that dance and play
On a brand new day

You rise up in the morning sky
A brilliant ball of fire, oh my
You set each night in fiery red
A sight that fills me with dread

But knowing you will rise again
Brings hope and joy within
So thank you, dear Sun, for all you do
Shining bright, a sight so true

You bring life and energy
To all that you do see
So here's a letter just for you
From a grateful heart, so true and true
