A Tried Friendship

Shawnice Pate 1991 (Brooklyn)

I can be liking her a bit too much in the past.

Now I can live without her.

It was a crush that went to far in obsession.

Something that should have been ended.

But the friendship was kept in the dark.

Would it be a friendship without a friend?

A tried friendship that didn't settle after a crush.

Once I crush on a person there's no going back.
