Alone

Penny Loaf 1991 (Fl)

I long to be alone.
Alone,  where me myself and I can roam.
No one to tell me which way to go.
Alone,  where I am no longer obligated to this life line of a phone.
No one to hassle me all day, and no more useless words to conjure up to say.
Alone,  where I can finally breathe in peace and be free of this mind disease
No one can tell me how I should be.
Alone,  wiping away the illusion of time.
No one to claim what is theirs and what is mine.
Alone with my time and alone with my space.   Alone sounds like a lovely little place!
No one to bug me or scorn and laugh.
No one to judge me for any part of my past.
Alone with no one, just me and my wandering mind.
No one but me frolicking in the twilight till the end of time.
