The Tear

A single tear
So bold, so brave
A tear ran down my face
A single tear
I forgot what it's like to cry
Didn't even see the signs
My right eye
Leaked my secrets
Oh, betrayal is it
Or a cry for help
Does this one tear
Give me hope
A single tear of sadness
Just one no more
Wait,
Sadness is it?
I suppose not..
A tear of happiness it could be
Maybe
Just maybe
That's what I'm feeling inside
The warmth
And comfort
Of your words,
The only one in which
I coincide.
