Polar

Eternal circle of gray,
Oh the irony of it all,
It’s a roaring, shining, white sky
Black crushing all who stand tall
Colorless Sun chasing the yellow moon
Blood stained water snuffing blue flames
Oh~ the never ending contradiction
A savior only appearing in the end’s doom
Winners and losers before the start of games
Merciless gray angels bestowing damnation
Small feathers crushing massive whales
Legend of the half hidden tales
With no path, one follows to the far North
A path out of this contradicting nightmare
With no X, one will be found far South
At the end of it all, pushing their limits without a care

About this poem

This poem is my attempt at a Holiday themed but also longer single poem with no stanza breaks. Inspired by contradicting statements.

I have no intention of winning the money or mugs I am just here to share some poetry in hopes that someone will enjoy or like it! more…
