Amor Fati

The ribcage opens up wide.
And the heart flies so free,
In this universe of mine,
Constructed as I see.

The heart within beats so proud and strongly.
The inner shade is torched by blinding light.
I see the great goddess within me,
And vanishing necessities to hide.

What is absurd is made myth;
Wretched strife is known as growth.
Simple changes in perspective
Can cleanse mental catacombs.

In my own mind I have purpose,
And that is good enough for me
I embrace eternity.
God bless eternal recurrence.

I whisper in my hands, "amor fati."
