A Donkey in Heaven

Blessed hope becomes more certain
When you’re stranded in distress.
So, when your persecution comes
Be sure to stand the test!

Do not shrink back and fade away;
The faithful never do it.
Wake up and stand up on your feet;
Then you can walk right through it.

The only things you need are mercy
And grace, which comes from God.
And with a great cloud of witnesses,
The angels will applaud.

Let’s throw off everything
That hinders love and causes sin.
Run your race with perseverance!
So that in the end you’ll win.

The Lord rejoices over sinners
In repentance doing well!
The change of mind He gave them
Kept their asses out of hell!

I could have said their donkeys
And you would have got that too.
But Jesus Christ is real!
And all His words are true!
