Mum like no one

Clamouring,
An argument I will never stop defending,
Achievers without parent are rare gems
Looking through the windows of the world
Never did I see the like of a mother.

For nine months,
Happily she bears pain with no reward
Walking through the three ages
In pains, she delivered
In pains, she nutured me

Sacrifices she made,
Many not written down
But one can easily notice them
Her faces is a living narrator of her pains
And her hand a testimony.

She fuelled my dream in exchange of hers
Her beauty,
she lost it to build mine
Her lifespan, she extinguished
To rekindle a life she lost hers.

All these,
 She never requested for rewards
Seeing her child happy is all her happiness
Her great failure is my sadness
She believes in me when others don't.

Little to the time of great reward
She passed on without formal notice
She left me lonely with no dad
Climbing the ladder of success is hard
Only few gems like me are fortunate

Looking through the four corners of the world
I wish the world can speak
And the people its speakers
I would have ordered the world to say,
No one can be like a mum.
