Butterfly

Blank verse
Just remembering her makes my heart flutter
It gets wings and fly over
Over the clouds trying to reach the source
The source of light from where love originates
I fear the impossibility of that possibility That we could reach out there
But again this heart speaks out
"Don't worry we'll be there
Me and you, We together "

About this poem

This poem is about one sided love where the speaker thinks that one day he would be together with the person he loved. Speaker describes the feelings he get when he thinks about her.
