Anxiety

My cheeks burn red hot,
like the eye of the stove.
Heart beat fluttering unpredictabley.
Head down,
eyes glued,
to the freezing tile beneath my feet.
Blinking quickly,
to maintain the surface.
I lift my shaking hands to my heavy breath.
Why do you have this hold on me?
My throat feels dry and tight.
Does the world wish me not to express,
living with Anxiety?
