A Girl with the Red Balloon
Am I Dreaming?
Well,I tell you my darling
As I lay here with my mournful slumber
Life for me ain’t been no good
Hasn’t seen the light of day
Stuck in this infirmary bed of grass
The world was closing in between myself
Haven’t got all day to see you
Life for me wasn’t perfect or granite countertops
Or a glass staircase
Or diamond earrings
Or a Red Corvette with reflect mirrors
It wasn’t much time, darling
Why was it so dark, I compiled
Why was it so cold, I feared
Why was it so lonely, I cried
Life for me wasn’t fancy for me
I gave my two legs and two hands
For my only child
That I carried beyond this earth
My joy and My only supporter
O, my daughter
My life, I give for us
Sacrifice was my only hope
Wanted the best life for you
The Dawn is soon near
I’m Sorry, I can’t see you
For one last time
All I have was this Red Balloon
And Given by you
With this Red Balloon
Who I seen with hours as go by
I say hello
Wandering in the Open Plains
It spoke quietly hello
As It reminds me dearly you
Reminds me the good moments
Moments we experienced together
The best or the worst
Every moment I pondered with you
Will always be my favorite
But last words spoken quietly
Came toward the Red Balloon
Said
“You won’t die”
“You won’t die”
“You won’t die”
“You won’t die”
“You won’t die”
Come Home
And fertile your soil
